Winston LFP100-CON
Flexible connector for cells Winston TSWB-LYP100AHA . The connector consists of multi-layer copper material. Including screws and washers.
A very important feature of the original connection connector is its flexibility. Especially when used with battery cells arranged in mobile applications (various material handling machines, electric vehicles, etc.).
When using non-original connectors (for example, made from a single piece of sheet metal), there is a risk of damage to the internal connection terminals of the cell due to vibrations and impacts.
How to calculate the maximum current for a given jumper connector?
The important parameters for the calculation are the cross-section of the jumper connector × the width of the jumper connector.
Recommended current load per 1 mm 2 :
- 4 A per 1 mm 2 – permanently
- 6 A per 1 mm 2 – short-term (up to 1 hour)
- 8 A per 1 mm 2 – peak (max. 1 minute)
The load capacity of the end connector is not linear! The load capacity decreases as the cross-section of the terminal connector increases.
